Whoever said that Flipping Houses would be easy needs to be shot! This has been the most stressful week ever…
Obviously if I didn’t enjoy the thrill of the ride I would not be doing this, but sometimes I seriously wonder. I’ve had renters turn in keys, renters not pay rent, houses flooding, offers to low on my houses, partners going crazy, double booked appts, missed appts, computer crashes, title companies lose paperwork, funds not show at closing, contractors calling in sick…need I say more?
We are close to finishing 12 houses and getting them finished and listed I can taste it. It’s a wild ride knowing that there are last minute house shoppers looking for their 8k tax credit while I’m trying to get all mine on the market for them to buy. Funding is sooooo tight that we may have to list without being 100% done with the flip. Hopefully that doesn’t prevent us from getting a contract.
I hope there are folks out there having as much fun as we are! I tell ya, when we are up…we are flying high and doing great. But when we are down…it’s tough to keep things moving. I’m glad I have a great team, I don’t know how I could keep my sanity without them…
