Day Two of our flip begins on Sunday, April 11th at 9am…that’s right, it’s a Sunday. This rehab is moving ultra fast to keep up with the ever changing market.
During the night we had interior paint and tile work getting done. The kitchen, dining and entryway were all tied in together.
This morning we laid out the kitchen cabinets to make sure we had everything we needed. Every now and then our vendor will mix up a piece or two, so I wanted to be sure we were good to go for Monday morning. We also finished removing the wall paper border that was started the day before.
All the outlets and switches were updated as needed. We were missing a couple GFI’s in the kitchen and baths, so that has now been fixed.
All of this is great, but I must say the best part of my day was the landscaping. First thing this morning we pulled weeds and removed a couple pesky trees, turned some soil and then planted some new bushes and flowers. The afternoon brought us a lush dark green lawn. I’m sure our neighbors love me and hate me. The house and yard is looking beautiful…I guess they need to do some work to keep up! lol
