Habitat ~ Women Build Project Thanks You!

Thank you all for supporting the Women Build cause! Your support is extremely important to our project. The Women Build Committee would like to update you on where we are in relation to the goal of building a house for a low-income family.

Last week was Habitat International and Lowe’s Women Build Week. We had a great group of volunteers help insulate one home and build a fence at another. Not only did the volunteers help build, but Women Build is getting a $5,000 gift card from Lowe’s to purchase supplies for the house because of their efforts! THANK YOU!

With our verbal commitments for in-kind donations, cash from fundraising and donors, and two Lowe’s gift cards, we have approximately $30,000 toward our $55,000 goal! Our next fundraiser is coming up, Hike for Habitat. Habitat for Humanity has very generously agreed to donate all of the proceeds from the Hike for Habitat to the Women Build house! This is HUGE for us! Hike for Habitat is coming up on June 13th. Please join us and support the Women Build project.
